Summary:

  This past month, I could say ive had more of a "downtime" period, allowing me to work more on myself and rest. The only event I had taken part in this month would be me going to Croatia with my family and going to the Romanian coast with my friends.

Everyone is starting a new chapter

  Im coming to terms (hardly) that most people in my life are going to, just as me be turning a new page in the book of life. And I, frankly dont actually know how to feel about this. Its a complex and profound feeling thats for sure, for the first time hitting me this past weekend when I met up with a close friend i (now used to) go to the gym with, Aron

  We spent the last few hours of his here in town together before he left to another country where he would be staying for more than the rest of the year, rendering the possibility of use meeting again anytime soon rather slim. Sitting there, in his kitchen looking at him, seeing I would guess a quite emotion filled person was very euphoric. the last few minutes of the planned hangout for me were spent by just looking around and admiring the whole scene. The room, the people, the smell and general feeling of the place, having a strong feeling of sonder

Croatia

  Id be lying if i said I was really looking forward to this vacation, I was already tired prior this vacation, and frankly i just wanted a bit of a break from everyone.

We went to Vir, an island along the dalmatian coast, for whatever reason most of the tourists there being hungarian. I dont know why exactly it is like this, the island is by no means close to the border with Hungary or anything, but to put into perspective, due to the amount fo hungarian tourists in there, we found multiple places where we could get traditional hungarian foods where we were even adressed in hungarian.

Seeing as I was somewhat flegmatic towards this vacation, I had a bunch of time on my hands to reflect on myself and what I plan for the future, specifically Uni. I tried reaching out to a few people that go (will go) to the same Uni as me and I had some success! I am a lot calmer now when it comes to making friends in Cluj

Another thing i thought of quite a bit while I was at Vir were AI, the RAM shortage, learning to debate communism and social media platforms specifically the ones like Twitter and Bluesky. If any of you are interested to talk a out any of these topics, please do message me!

Vacation With the gang

  To commemorate last year's vacation and to have one last big outing before we all head off our own ways to Uni and such, My good friends Steph and Ana↘ organised a two night outing to Constanta.

Initially, just like with my vacation to Vir, I wasnt too excited, especially because of some other much more personal stuff I've been pondering about, but I went anyway and i didnt regret it!

Constanta was very nice this time of year, the weekend we arrived an event was being hosted through the city, will all sorts of markets and shows, rendering the city very lively and wierdly enough... Social? I dont know how exactly, but I can say that in my experience as a Romanian so far, Constanta is one of the most social cities I've been too. Everyone yaps so much, all the cashiers and employees everywhere, it felt very nice!

Dogs, Dog shelters

  I'm sure we dont need to dig too deep into our brains to realise how sad the concept of dog shelters are... And of course I dont mean it as in they shouldnt exist, god of course not! What I'm trying to say is that i find it (and hope that you do too) extremely sad that so many healthy dogs with no homes have to live in poor conditions.

This, is a hard topic to discuss. Some might argue leaving them on the streets would be better, some are agains shelters, and the meanwhile, the shelters and the peoplee working there are trying their best to make it day by day working extremely hard with low pay and barely any resources to care for the said dogs.

So, after seeing a post on facebook from my local dog shelter announcing the possibility to volunteer, I signed up. It was a very nice and even terapeutic experience. I missed having a dog, and frankly cant wait to be able to care for one again.

"moving" out

  It would be a lie if I said I moved out and live alone now, nah its not like that, although I have been staying alone for about a week now, at a different apartment from where I lived before. My experience so far, is pretty good!

First of all, Its SO easy to have a routine and actually stick to it! This is literally one of my favorite parts about living alone!

1. wake up whenever I feel like it (usually around 10:00-11:00)
2. stretch, open blinds and window, hygene stuff
3. Put some eggs to boil/cook or make a sandwitch while water is being heated for a coffee
4. after step 3 is done, bring it all out to the balcony to enjoy the natural sunlight as fast as possible in the morning!

Its very crucial though to do all of this WITHOUT touching my phone. All in silence, no social media bullshit.

again, its like... poetic, it makes me feel very present in the moment, it allows me to clear my mind for the day, "rest" further, even though I'm awake, and get ready for the day. This whole routine would take me about an hour or so.
